PassBox is a cycling safety study that measures how close cars get to your bicycle.

PassBox attaches to your bike and uses the same precision ultrasound technology used by police in the USA to detect passing events.

After collecting data in Melbourne and Perth, PassBox is now looking for volunteers in Geelong and Bendigo.

If you live in Geelong or Bendigo, we need you to volunteer to put PassBox on your bicycle for three weeks. PassBox records all of your usual cycling and helps us understand what makes cars pass close.

As a thank you for participating all participants will get a free one year cycling Australia membership including insurance.

PassBox fitting dates:

Geelong - Saturday April 7th

Bendigo - Saturday May 5th

Help make cycling safer in Victoria, volunteer now.
